I prefer to be more specific in my writing, but today’s word dictates the opposite.

“Spring”

Ground,

Earth,
New and
Energizing birth;
Rain and sun
Alter the
Laughscape – such mirth!

My first attempt this morning was a bit more serious. I came across the word ‘gloze.’ Great Scrabble word! It means to minimize or underplay.

Gloze not that

Energy, as an entity,
Never in all the universe
Entirely dissipates;

I didn’t feel I was getting at the spirit of the word ‘general.’ It intrigues me that it evolved from the Latin meaning ‘kind.’  Anyone reading this blog is welcome to collaborate here.
