Music of the Renaissance has always struck a deep chord in me. I love the krummhorn’s buzzing tones, a call across the mist-clad moors.

Krumm is the crook in
Renaissance horns that even
Umlauted vowels
Might scorn; they
Make a sound somewhat forlorn.
However, like
Oboes, they have two
Reeds that buzz oh so
Nicely, as one drinking mead.
