Hubris is often a component of the
Yakking, specious
Politician’s persona,
Or the heaven-bound zealot,
Chanting of love for his neighbor,
while
Ranting that the ONE right way to
live
Is his.
Sadly, few indulge in true introspection,
Yes, necessary for pretension-detection.
