Perhaps the only oratory- or tirade-like part of this poem is the
opening “Do Not…!” and the exclamation points. While the ‘clam’ part comes
from a Latin verb meaning to ‘cry out,’ I had
to play with it out of context. On this Friday, I am jonesin’ for some CHOWdah!
